Women in Business Series ( WIB ) 

The AustCham Myanmar Women in Business (WIB) series is a flagship initiative dedicated to empowering, connecting, and advancing female leadership across Myanmar’s corporate and entrepreneurial landscape. Hosted annually in March to celebrate International Women’s Day, the series serves as a vital platform for addressing the unique challenges faced by women in the private sector while actively celebrating their achievements. WIB series launched in 2016, spanning a decade of empowering female leadership through 2026. A total of 6 flagship events hosted to date (noting pauses in 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2024).

Through inspiring panel discussions, capacity-building workshops, and targeted networking events such as our landmark annual conference and Local Brand Bazaar, the WIB series fosters an inclusive, safe space for professional growth. Grounded in a commitment to responsible business practices and gender equality, the series brings together leaders, allies, and change-makers to collaborate on building a more equitable and resilient economic future.

Intrachamber series is a flagship serves as a bridge between international and fellow chambers, creating a unified platform for professionals to exchange insights, explore synergies, and build lasting bilateral and multilateral partnerships. Also, Intrachamber event designed to bring together businesses, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from across Myanmar’s dynamic private sector.

• A Quarterly Catch Up: Hosted three times a year (every 3 months) to ensure regular, consistent touchpoints for Myanmar’s business community.
• Cross-Chamber Collaboration: A unified platform bringing together members from multiple international and local chambers of commerce in Myanmar.
• Bilateral & Multilateral Growth: Facilitates strategic connections to help businesses explore new market opportunities, partnerships, and supply chains.
