Women in Business: Unleash Her Potential
On 20 March 2025, the “Women in Business: Unleash Her Potential” event, co-hosted by the Australian Chamber of Commerce and the Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE), brought together an inspiring community of leaders, changemakers, and entrepreneurs to celebrate and empower women in business.
The event opened with meaningful remarks by Angela Corcoran, Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy, followed by welcoming addresses from NI NI MYINT, CEO of AustCham, and Kyawt Kay Thi Win, Country Director of BCGE, setting the tone for a powerful day of dialogue and inspiration.
We were honored to hear from three exceptional speakers who shared their personal and professional journeys:
Moe Thandar Win, Managing Director of Momentum Plus – “Breaking Limits: A Transformative Journey of Strength, Growth, and Determination”
Kyaw Thet Zaw, CEO of Ninja Van – “Unleashing Women's Potential: The Rise of the Women Ninjas”
Thoon Thadar Nwe, Artist and Founder of T & T Handmade Land – “Becoming Who I’m Meant to Be: A Story of Self-Discovery and Growth”

Participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions during the Unleashing Her Potential session and explored innovative products and services through the See, Shop & Support: Women-Led SMEs initiative.
The event also proudly celebrated workplace equality through the Regional GEARS Awards and concluded with a reflective Learning Circle on “Smashing Stereotypes”, promoting inclusive dialogue and shared learning.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all members, partners, supporters, speakers, and participants whose invaluable contributions made this event a resounding success.
