Yangon Heritage Trust – Breakfast Session
Since establishment in 2012, Yangon Heritage Trust (YHT) has played a central role in advocating for heritage protection and proper management of Yangon’s extraordinary built and cultural heritage, developed clear and sustainable policy recommendations to make Yangon a livable city as it expands rapidly, engaged with government, business and civil society, and undertaken specific conservation projects.
YHT Director Daw Moe Moe Lwin and her team will present on building public appreciation for heritage conservation both in Yangon and throughout Myanmar, working with government agencies on preservation and urban planning, and planning ahead to make Yangon a city that both honors its past and makes the present healthy and livable for its residents.
The session will include presentations on heritage conservation locally.
